In Oregon, home to the oldest accredited school of naturopathic medicine, we are lucky to have progressive laws supporting naturopathy. Many insurers do cover naturopathic care to some extent, and many others offer such coverage as riders on regular plans. Under the new federal health-insurance reforms passed in 2010, insurers in all states licensing naturopaths will be required to include coverage for these services.
